- How do I place an order?
To place an order you need to obtain a firm quote and corresponding order reference number. To obtain an order number please upload a file for assessment or complete the quote request form.
- How do I submit files for transcription?
Use the upload form to submit files up to 2000MB in size. Alternatively post digital media to UK Transcription, 5 St. Georges Place, Brighton, BN1 4GA. You can also request an FTP pass to upload files direct.
Yes! All data transfer is via secure encrypted SSL. All files are permanently deleted after 8 days. Further measures such as encryption and password protection can be applied at any stage of the process, as required.
Transcripts are delivered by default as a Word 2003 email attachment, or via password protected SSL encrypted download on request. Please state your preference when ordering.
Yes! We have dedicated editors, a two stage QA process, and each and every unintelligible word is time stamped for further checking. If you are not 100% satisfied with the finished transcript, we will reproof the document as many times as is necessary at no extra cost.
- How do I pay?
Invoices are issued upon completion of order. Bank transfer or cheque is preferred. Online credit card payments attract a 2% admin charge. We may ask individuals for advance payment.
No. We cannot accept payments from overseas customers at this time.
UK Transcription is a intelligent verbatim interview specialist. We have years of experience producing intelligently edited transcripts which we are sure you will be satisfied with. We are also more than happy to work to specification.
Character naming is included as standard, with the exception of large or animated group discussions, where naming may attract extra charges.
Inaudible terms are time stamped by default. Periodic time stamping is available on request. High frequency time stamping may attract further charges.
UK Transcription takes confidentiality and the security of your information very seriously. All employees are UK Citizens and have signed binding NDAs. Our standard confidentiality agreement is available on request and we would be happy to sign documents of your own devising.
