Payment

• Invoices are issued upon completion of work, payable by cheque, card or bank transfer.
• No export restrictions are applicable, but all transactions must be in British Pound Sterling. UK Transcription can not accept payments in foreign currency.
• All quotes, fees and prices are subject to VAT at 17.5%  
  

Delivery Policy (Timescales)

• Transcripts are delivered electronically by email or secure direct download in Word 2003 .doc format.
• Transcripts are delivered by 5pm on the agreed deadline date, unless otherwise agreed.
•  In the rare event of late delivery of items, a discretionary discount in the range of 10-30% will be applied.

Refund, Replacement and Cancellation Terms

• No refunds are applicable after commencement of work, except at the discretion of UK Transcription.
• If the customer is not satisfied with the first draft of a transcript, UK Transcription will make all reasonable effort to revise the document at no extra charge. 
• Replacement copies of transcripts are available for a period of 60 days.
• Cancellations may be possible prior to commencement of work at the discretion of UK Transcription.
  

Quotes and Deadlines

• Quotes are valid until 5pm on the day they are issued, except at the discretion of UK Transcription.
• Quotes are based on a representative sample, and are subject to consistency of material.
• All quotes and deadlines refer to working days, Monday to Friday.  (For example a standard two day order placed at 10am on Friday will be due by 5pm Tuesday.)
  

Confidentiality

• All UK Transcription staff, contractors and associates are required to sign binding confidentiality agreements.
• We treat all supplied information, data and audio files as strictly confidential.
•  All idle audio files are permanently destroyed after 8 days. Transcripts are destroyed after 60 days.
  

 Liability

• UK Transcription assumes no liability for errors and inaccuracies in our transcripts. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure transcripts are accurate.
• UK Transcription assumes no liability for loss or damages however caused, resulting from direct or indirect use of our services.
